Workday Integrations Consultant

Position Overview

The Workday Integrations Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. This role requires technical aptitude and the ability to configure the project to meet business and design qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns applicable to all clients in their portfolio.
  • Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Regularly engage and support the client through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, regularly keeping the client, project team, and Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Willingness to take a leadership position on a project, or as a Cognizant Workday Product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
  • Display hands-on expertise of the software, including iLoading client data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
  • Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, including providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share skills and learnings with others within the organization.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc.).
  • Project experience highly desired.
  • Workday Integration, Workday StudioTM, and Workday CCTPPTM certification preferred.
  • Confident facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
