High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
5+ years of experience in Welding
Experience of using foot control TIG and MIG machines
Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures
Experience of manual TIG
Possess good communication skills
Work overtime as needed
Able to work independently and with others
Adhering to Company quality procedures

Responsibilities

Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications
Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications
Overlay of components using TIG & MIG per weld procedures
Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure
Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs
Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies
Carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality
Work on your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant
Ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs
Flex between first and second shift as needed
