Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 5+ years of experience in Welding
  • Experience of using foot control TIG and MIG machines
  • Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures
  • Experience of manual TIG
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Adhering to Company quality procedures

Responsibilities

  • Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications
  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications
  • Overlay of components using TIG & MIG per weld procedures
  • Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure
  • Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs
  • Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies
  • Carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality
  • Work on your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant
  • Ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs
  • Flex between first and second shift as needed
