Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Interest and/or experience in hydrology, hydraulics, flood modelling, stormwater design, and technical reporting
Exposure to software such as 12D, TUFLOW, XPRAFTS/WBNM, HEC-RAS, QGIS, MUSIC (highly regarded but not essential for graduates)
Willingness to learn, take initiative and apply problem-solving skills in a consulting environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Graduate to mid-level experience (early career through to up to 4 years of consulting experience)

Responsibilities

Support assessments of water-related impacts including hydrology, flooding and water quality for infrastructure, development and environmental projects
Assist in conceptual and detailed design of civil and stormwater infrastructure such as drainage systems, basins, dams, earthworks and overland flow management
Contribute to the preparation of engineering reports, drawings, modelling outputs, specifications and cost estimates
Undertake hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tasks with support from senior engineers, learning industry-standard tools and methodologies
Assist with project coordination, documentation and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
