Requirements

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting, along with working with technology-based processes, is preferred. Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking abilities, efficient time management, the capacity to meet deadlines, and computer literacy with typing skills are essential. Remote employees must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted connection.

Responsibilities

The Quality Analyst will manage the medical file review process by reviewing referral completeness and report accuracy to ensure client questions are addressed and department standards are met. Responsibilities include following up with reviewers and clients for clarification, updating clients on referral progress, ensuring reports are grammatically correct and error-free, adhering to the QA checklist, and formatting reports for approval. The role also involves clear communication between customers, reviewers, and the operations team, and confidently discussing peer review content with physicians and clients. Additional duties and special projects may be assigned based on business needs.
