Responsibilities

  • Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work from a central warehouse or designated area
  • Use computer systems to track, log, verify, and report inventory and shipment data
  • Follow established shipping practices, procedures, and transportation requirements, ensuring on-time and compliant deliveries
  • Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment according to established quality standards
  • (Un)pack, (un)wrap, and stage items such as finished products, raw materials, assemblies, parts, office supplies, or equipment
  • Verify quantities, weights, and material specifications to ensure conformance to documentation
  • Log receipts in the system, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other associated documentation
  • Report materials shipped, post weight and shipping charges, and route materials to appropriate destinations
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all EHS and quality standards
