Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior order selecting experience preferred
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred
Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures
Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g., freezer, coolers, dry conditions)
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Physical ability to frequently sit, walk, stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, use both feet for repetitive movements, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to changes in temperature and humidity, moderate to high noise levels
Availability to work weekends, holidays, day and night hours, overtime as necessary, and 8-10 hour shifts as assigned

Responsibilities

Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset
Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., single and double pallet jacks)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using a safety checklist
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products
Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages
Complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
