Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience reporting in a top 20 market
- Exceptional reporting, writing, and interviewing skills
- Ability to source and generate impactful enterprise leads, and create impactful content utilizing the latest investigative tools, including data journalism
- Tenacious ability to uncover stories through investigation and research
- Expert in telling high-impact stories and in breaking news coverage, demonstrated in the field
- Ability to report, write, capture visual content, edit, and produce stories for multiple platforms on deadline (owned and distributed digital, streaming, and social platforms)
- Active in using social media for promotion and news gathering
- Demonstrated ability to move the audience between linear and digital platforms
- Collaborative self-starter
- Ensures that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
- Strong commitment to the community, expected to represent the station and participate in various community events
- Open to working early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Preferred: Fluency in a second language
