Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of financial leadership experience in a high-growth software firm, investment banking, private equity, or a similar field. Exceptional financial modeling skills, expertise in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience designing business systems for operational and financial planning are essential. Experience in high-growth software environments and the ability to execute independently are also required.

Responsibilities

The VP of FP&A will lead, manage, and scale the finance function, including team, system implementation, and process development, to support rapid growth. This role is responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, and internal reporting to leadership and the Board of Directors. The VP will collaborate with key business stakeholders on strategic planning, evaluate financial and operational results to identify opportunities, benchmark financials, set targets, and drive improvements. They will also encourage innovative thinking and challenge assumptions to ensure faster, more effective execution aligned with company goals.
