The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a high-growth media or entertainment company, is required. Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and scale FP&A functions from the ground up are essential, along with demonstrated experience in building complex financial models and presenting financial information to executive leadership and board members.
As the VP of FP&A, you will own all FP&A functions, including annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range modeling, and monthly business reviews. You will build scalable forecasting and performance tracking processes, partner with executive leadership to deliver actionable insights, lead budgeting, headcount planning, and resource allocation, develop dynamic financial models to evaluate new initiatives, establish and monitor KPIs, and support board and investor reporting with financial analysis and business context.
