Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with minimum 3 years in VDC/BIM focus
  • Knowledge of construction principles/practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence across all disciplines
  • Proficiency in CM Builder, Navisworks, Revit, BIM 360/ACC, DroneDeploy
  • Proficiency in Revizto a plus
  • Self-starter, highly motivated

Responsibilities

  • Support design-led design build project teams in 3D coordination efforts
  • Act as the connection between the design team, construction team, and trade partners through various BIM-focused tasks
  • Prepare virtual project models for site logistics, scheduling, phasing and other planning efforts working closely with the preconstruction team, project managers and superintendents
  • Implement and maintain company VDC standards, workflows, and templates, working collaboratively with the BIM managers
  • Support the estimating team with model-based coordination
  • Perform and document clash detection on virtual building model as well as assist in conflict resolution
  • Track model changes through design updates and as built conditions
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on BIM/VDC software and best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of emerging VDC technologies
