Requirements

  • Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician
  • Strong in anesthesia and sedation
  • Basic understanding of common medications and parasiticides
  • Ability to analyze diagnostic samples a plus (ear/skin cytology, fecal floats, urinalysis, blood smears)
  • Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
  • Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service
  • Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun
  • Availability for full-time 4x10 shifts (7:00am-8pm) with a blend of weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Run exam room appointments
  • Obtain bloodwork/x-rays/ultrasounds
  • Client communication and education about illness and preventive care
  • Providing patient care and administration of medications/vaccines
  • Dental hygienist & dental x-ray technician
  • Running anesthesia from beginning to end, including pre/post op care of patients
  • Assisting GP Doctors as needed
  • Manages client appointments and diagnostics for routine and sick visits
