Requirements

Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Strong in anesthesia and sedation
Basic understanding of common medications and parasiticides
Ability to analyze diagnostic samples a plus (ear/skin cytology, fecal floats, urinalysis, blood smears)
Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service
Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun
Availability for full-time 4x10 shifts (7:00am-8pm) with a blend of weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

Run exam room appointments
Obtain bloodwork/x-rays/ultrasounds
Client communication and education about illness and preventive care
Providing patient care and administration of medications/vaccines
Dental hygienist & dental x-ray technician
Running anesthesia from beginning to end, including pre/post op care of patients
Assisting GP Doctors as needed
Manages client appointments and diagnostics for routine and sick visits
