Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience. They must have a strong understanding of digital design, along with knowledge of at least one high-speed interface such as USB, MIPI, PCIe, Ethernet, DP, and two or three peripheral interfaces like SDIO, UART, I2S, I2C, PWM, SPI. Familiarity with AMBA AHB/AXI/APB based SoC Architecture, ADC/DAC, and LPDDR interfaces is required, as well as experience with ASIC Simulation Tools and Verification Languages, including UVM/OVM/System Verilog, and sign-off simulators like Verdi/Siloti. Proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and TCL is also necessary.
The Omni Design Technologies Verification Engineering Lead/Manager will lead the SOC and Mixed signal verification team, managing tasks and ensuring the team meets agreed-upon schedules for tape-out and production. They will develop and sign off on test plans and test cases, leveraging strong knowledge of digital design and verification methodologies. The role involves designing and developing UVM-based testbenches for multi-core, multi-threaded processor subsystems, with a focus on verifying performance, power, and functionality for mixed-signal SOCs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing testbenches for AMS and FC simulations, ensuring 95%+ coverage, working with the design team to debug failures, integrating and running BIST and DFT gate-level simulations, and generating code, line, and toggle coverage metrics. Furthermore, the Lead/Manager will be responsible for running daily and weekly regressions, publishing results, and maintaining awareness of UPF (Unified Power Format) requirements.
Licenses high-performance semiconductor IP cores
Omni Design Technologies creates high-performance, ultra-low power IP cores for the semiconductor industry, which are essential for advanced systems on chips (SoCs) used in technologies like 5G, LiDAR, and AI. They license these IP cores to other companies, allowing for seamless integration into existing designs, which simplifies the development of complex mixed-signal SoCs. Their collaborations with companies like LeddarTech and MegaChips highlight their ability to enhance technologies in automotive and data conversion sectors. The goal of Omni Design is to empower various industries by providing reliable semiconductor solutions that drive technological innovation.
