Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering, and a minimum of two years of experience in Software Quality Assurance testing, specifically with Software Features Integration within complex vehicle systems. System understanding is required for deeper investigation of defects, alongside creative test case writing and out-of-the-box thinking. Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with being a self-fast learner, responsible, a strong team player, and detail-oriented.
The Validation and Integration Engineer will design and develop test scripts and automation frameworks using various software programs, primarily Python, to validate software and algorithms integrated into GM electrical and autonomous vehicles. They will manually execute test plans, root cause defects, perform performance analysis, maintain and develop testing capabilities, and design sophisticated test setups to improve execution robustness. Additionally, they will contribute to improving testing and regression efficiency through the addition of unique automation features.
