Requirements

  • 3 months of work history with the same employer
  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a class III tow motor certification
  • Ability and willingness to scan or input into computer system all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs
  • Ability and willingness to follow formulations on computer and accurate record and report food safety or product information
  • Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
  • Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater, frequently
  • Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
  • Ability and willingness to withstand frequent rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
  • Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees

Responsibilities

  • Perform all roles of the department
  • Perform SAP transactions to include scanning, printing barcodes, and apply them to vats of meat
  • Assemble and disassemble and operate equipment safely
  • Operate a power lift and a forklift
  • Move materials to and from production lines or to warehouse, or to/from trailers
  • Ensure proper transfer of materials including ingredients, raw meat, packing, finished goods
  • Document codes and weights on proper paperwork
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management
