Requirements
- Follow company policies and procedures for handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging, and organizing merchandise
- Utilize equipment appropriately and complete required paperwork, logs, and documentation
- Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations
- Operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment and process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges for different membership and payment types
- Perform audits, count merchandise, research variances, identify shrink/overages, and adjust inventory counts
- Schedule incoming shipments and track outgoing shipments to meet deadlines
- Ensure wholesale trade orders are received, processed, filled, prepped, staged, loaded, and released per company procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide Member service by acknowledging Members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Maintain the wholesale trading area, including handling claims/returns, zoning, arranging/organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
- Receive merchandise, organize, and maintain the Wholesale Trading area
- Maintain facility safety by conducting sweeps, following procedures, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Assist management with supervising Associates in the Receiving area by assigning duties, communicating goals/feedback, ensuring policy compliance, supporting Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating
- Complete audit reports on merchandise counts, variances, shrink, overages, and inventory adjustments
