Requirements
- Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications, and seasonality
- Demonstrates knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques
- Leverages digital tools, hand held technology and systems for business decisions, services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training; adapts to new tools
- Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers; processes transactions
- Maintains accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Uses policies, data, and resources to complete work assignments and priorities; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educates other associates on tools, tasks, resources; mentors new technicians; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
- Utilizes digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement; encourages others to use new tools
- Works hands-on in the physical area; reports TBC complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services, and work areas; completes paperwork, logs, and documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies
- Identifies member needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; resolves issues and concerns
- Being a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in the TBC area and modeling high quality service and products; develops, influences and inspires others in a respectful, supportive, team-oriented style; understands roadblocks and assists in training team members
- Implements related action plans for company policies; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in business processes and practices
- Determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities
