Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, hand held technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers and process transactions
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards
  • Ability to complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation
  • Ability to ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs; track and monitor returns and special orders

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonality
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement; utilize technology for business decisions, safety alerts, product info, application, and training; adapt to new tools and encourage others
  • Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead; track/monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; work hands-on in physical area; maintain inventory/audit/safety/compliance; report complaints/hazards/product issues; complete paperwork/logs/documentation; ensure merchandise packaging/labeling/storage
  • Identify member needs; assist with purchasing decisions; resolve issues and concerns
  • Act as brand advocate valuing member experience; model high quality service/products; develop/influence/inspire team in respectful/supportive/team-oriented style; assist in training team members and overcoming roadblocks
  • Comply with company policies/procedures/ethics by implementing action plans; use Open Door Policy; apply in business processes
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources; collaborate with stakeholders; identify priorities/deadlines/expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress/info; recommend improvements; adapt/learn from change/feedback/difficulties
