Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track and monitor returns and special orders
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Ability to communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs, report complaints, safety hazards, and problems
  • Ability to identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to change

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate business decisions, adapt to new tools, and encourage others to use them
  • Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies to TBC Lead; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; work hands-on in the physical area; maintain inventory; audit safety and compliance; report complaints, hazards, and problems; complete documentation; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage; assist members with purchases and resolve issues
  • Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service, develop and inspire team members in a respectful, supportive manner, understand roadblocks, and assist in training
  • Implement action plans using Open Door Policy, execute business processes, and comply with policies and standards
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback
  • Embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, support associates, build team relationships, communicate positively, mentor others, recognize contributions
