Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, and business decisions
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance, complete paperwork, and ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage
  • Ability to communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs, report complaints, hazards, and issues
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills for team collaboration, customer service, and training

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe/efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in tire/battery services, safety protocols, equipment, TPMS, products, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make business decisions on services/safety/products/training, and encourage tool adoption
  • Communicate needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, work hands-on in the physical area, maintain accurate inventory/audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product issues, complete documentation, ensure proper merchandise handling, assist members with purchases, and resolve issues
  • Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, influence/inspire team in a respectful/supportive manner, understand roadblocks, and assist in training
  • Implement action plans using Open Door Policy, execute business processes/practices in compliance with policies
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/feedback
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture, build team relationships, communicate positively to motivate/influence, mentor/develop others, recognize contributions
