Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of business on the floor, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and be an early adopter of new tools
  • Expertise in tire and battery services to train and share knowledge with the team
  • Skills in proactive planning, inventory management, expense controls, staffing, scheduling, operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity
  • Leadership skills to lead and participate in teams, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and adapt to change

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success
  • Communicate department goals, set guidelines and expectations, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Maintain and share expertise in tire and battery services, train the team on new products and technologies, and ensure they are equipped for their jobs
  • Leverage digital tools to plan sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions
  • Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, order equipment/tools/supplies, track returns/special orders, assist in staffing/scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and work hands-on as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance standards, complete paperwork/logs/documentation, and model member service commitment
  • Train and develop the team, monitor completion of e-learnings/trainings, identify potential, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist with correcting issues using Open Door Policy
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating assignments, providing support, and helping adapt to change
  • Embrace differences, create a culture of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected
