- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment (e.g., combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers)
- Ability to develop and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
- Capability to train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning
- Competence in managing work orders and maintenance logs
- Clear, transparent, and respectful customer service communication
- Adaptability to handle changing and competing demands
- Strong collaborative skills and belief in Servant Leadership
- Knowledge of trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Material Handling Equipment Maintenance
- Understanding of food safety and limiting cross contamination risks in food production areas
- Vocational training or equivalent (implied as minimum qualification)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial food equipment and grease/oil systems (e.g., oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks)
- Develop and perform preventative maintenance to reduce expenses and ensure equipment functionality
- Train Store Associates on proper equipment care, cleaning, and usage to minimize misuse and damage
- Manage and document work orders and maintenance logs accurately and timely
- Ensure safety and proper functionality of all serviced equipment
- Provide high levels of customer service and operational efficiency in Walmart stores
- Maintain operational integrity and efficiency of food equipment to support store performance and customer satisfaction
