Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field. They should have 10 years of experience in object-oriented programming with Java, Spring boot, Microservices, and React. Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos, Blob Storage, GCS, Hive, Apache Spark, and Airflow is required, along with a good understanding of Data Structures and 8+ years of experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems. Prior programming experience in the Finance, retail, or e-commerce industry is preferred, and knowledge of Python is an added advantage. Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS) and experience with Agile Methodology, CI/CD, and logging/metrics tools are necessary. The role requires a continuous drive to improve systems, strong computer science fundamentals, adaptability to new technologies, and a disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, and code structure. Experience as a core contributor to software projects and familiarity with logging and application monitoring stacks like Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk are also essential. Integration of AI-powered assistants into workflows is expected.
The Software Engineer will design and develop intuitive software solutions that meet customer and company needs. They will collaborate with team members to establish best practices and client requirements, professionally maintain all code, and create regular updates. Responsibilities include analyzing and testing programs before launch, reviewing design and code, providing technical solutions for complex requirements, and troubleshooting coding problems efficiently. The engineer will also focus on software security by developing programs that monitor the sharing of private information and seek ways to improve software effectiveness. Additionally, they will support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure confidence in software application usage.
