Requirements
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in pharmaceutical care, information, and best practices

Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
- Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs
- Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
- Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert advice and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
- Support implementation of business solutions by identifying needs, carrying out processes, monitoring progress, and adapting to changes
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on proper customer service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines
- Ensure compliance with policies by analyzing reports, implementing controls, overseeing reviews, and providing direction on programs
- Administer immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs in compliance with regulations
- Create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicate expectations; hold others accountable for SOPs and quality goals
- Ensure counseling on new therapy, new items, and as requested/required, with appropriate documentation
- Analyze areas for improvement, implement interventions for team knowledge, patient safety, and risk reduction
- Promote reporting and transparency of errors; write timely plans of action for root cause correction
- Foster environment for health care compliance execution; train and guide associates on compliance initiatives
- Implement and monitor compliance priorities, billing procedures, HIPAA, and SOPs
- Utilize auditing to identify and improve compliance issues
