Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage
- Provide meat products to members by processing meat (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management, and operate/maintain/sanitize equipment
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, use handheld technology for business decisions on production/training/product quality, adapt to new tools, and encourage others to use them
- Drive business results, commit to operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work area per policies, ensure quality/standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile/high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage
- Act as a Talent Ambassador by advocating for the department/club, valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service/products, executing basics at highest quality, interacting with associates to identify roadblocks, and assisting/training them on job duties
- Comply with company policies/procedures/ethics/integrity by implementing action plans, using Open Door Policy, and applying them in business processes
- Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with managers/co-workers/customers/partners, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress/information, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/difficulties/feedback
