Responsibilities

  • Supervise the meat department team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute programs, and ensure club success while advocating for members, associates, and company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to meet member expectations across the club
  • Maintain expertise by ensuring department meets company and regulatory standards, sharing knowledge, prioritizing team training on specifications and equipment, and engaging members on product selection
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make real-time decisions on production, training, and quality; adopt and encourage new tools
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, maintaining safe work areas, using digital tools for forecasting/planning/production, managing inventory/ordering, staffing, audits, compliance, and equipment
  • Produce and display merchandise according to layout plans
  • Teach, train, and develop team skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes by collaborating, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with policies, procedures, ethics; guide application, implement action plans, and assist with corrections
