Responsibilities

  • Supervise the meat department team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain meat department standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment, safety, sanitation, and compliance
  • Share knowledge, prioritize training for the team on item specifications and equipment use
  • Engage with members, share product passion, and help with protein selections
  • Leverage digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, maintaining a neat, clean, safe work area
  • Utilize digital tools for forecasting, planning, production, inventory, ordering, staffing, audits, and compliance
  • Ensure meat and seafood equipment and storage systems are in working order; produce and display merchandise per layout plan
  • Identify training needs, teach/train team, develop skills for high-quality products, encourage career growth, and source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs; analyze/apply information, monitor progress, address improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; assist with corrections
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources, determining needs/priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptability
