Responsibilities

  • Implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets with forklift
  • Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers
  • Working inventory exceptions, correcting shelf capacities, completing/retaining paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Providing member service, guidance, support, assistance with purchases/locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products/services
  • Maintaining facility safety through sweeps, procedures for forklift spotting, hazardous materials, steel standards, correcting/reporting unsafe situations
  • Maintaining sales floor/merchandising presentation: zoning, stocking/rotating, removing damaged/out-of-date goods, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving/sorting/staging/delivering merchandise, prominent display of promotional/seasonal items, processing defective merchandise, sanitation/food safety compliance, monitoring shrink/security/safety
  • Filling club pick up orders: assisting with picking/staging throughout the day, ensuring proper selection/staging per policy, ensuring timely picking by Merchandising Associates, performing occasional accuracy audits
  • Serving customers/members with care, understanding needs, exceeding expectations using resources
  • Making effective choices using policies/procedures/guides/data, involving others, recognizing/informing about problems
