  • Receives, sorts, stages, and delivers merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional/seasonal items
  • Processes defective merchandise following company and regulatory policies for sanitation and food safety
  • Monitors shrink, security risks, and safety in assigned areas
  • Assists with picking, staging, and auditing club pick up orders according to policy
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
  • Reports poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels
  • Uses inventory tools and equipment safely
  • Operates and maintains forklifts safely; reports unsafe conditions or improper working order
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services
  • Models and helps others with technology services; identifies and fixes shrink opportunities
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked

Responsibilities

  • Implement related action plans using the Open Door Policy and apply in business processes
  • Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
  • Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
  • Correct shelf capacities and complete/retain required paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance/support on self-service technology, assist with purchases, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products/services
  • Maintain facility safety by conducting sweeps, following procedures for hazardous materials and steel standards, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
  • Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation: zone areas, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, maintain modular integrity
  • Receive, sort, stage, and deliver merchandise; ensure prominent display of promotional/seasonal merchandise
  • Process defective merchandise per policies; monitor for sanitation, food safety, shrink, security, and safety
  • Assist with filling club pick up orders: pick, stage products per policy, ensure timely picking, perform accuracy audits
  • Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage timely
  • Report poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels in assigned area
  • Use inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operate/maintain forklifts safely; report poor/unsafe conditions or practices
  • Report to management when forklifts are not in proper working order
  • Actively engage customers needing technology help; model technology services for others
  • Identify shrink opportunities/problems with products/services/work areas and take steps to fix
  • Maintain equipment, organize/stock products correctly, and promptly fix problems
