  • Respond quickly to breaking news; contribute to live blogs during major events
  • Apply sound editorial judgment and rigorous fact-checking to ensure accuracy, fairness, clarity, and journalistic integrity
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to boost reporting efficiency (research support, drafting assistance, transcript/translation, timelines), while editing and verifying all outputs
  • Collaborate with editors, visuals, and audience teams to package stories with graphics, images, video, and embeds
  • Ensure Newsweek delivers high-quality reporting that is accurate, fair, and conforms to accepted standards of journalism
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business
