3+ years of experience in commercial insurance
Developed problem-solving skills to manage tasks and work through solutions with little guidance
Demonstrated self-direction and responsibility for own tasks, deliverables, and timelines

Strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Keen eye for detail with ability to accurately transcribe information
Developing leadership skills and some experience leading work groups or task forces
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to deliver complex information effectively and adjust style based on audience
General knowledge of cloud-based systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, and Adobe; ability to quickly learn new systems

Responsibilities

Process policy servicing and changes for direct and partner accounts, including midterm change endorsements, entity changes, cancel/rewrites, and other policy changes
Work with renewal teams to coordinate communications around significant changes during policy term for appropriate renewal reviews
Perform rate verification and testing, batch processing, and corrective tasks
Collaborate with product and compliance teams to test rates, system functionality, and data; provide feedback to product and engineering teams
Handle corrective endorsements for Workers Comp bureau error reports
Conduct batch processing for book rolls and large volume quoting/submission needs
Support Underwriting Assistants (UA) and Underwriters (UW) with data entry or file preparation as needed
Assist with rate and functionality testing/verification in policy rating platforms and ad hoc processing projects, including policy issuance, endorsements, cancel/rewrites, renewal file preparation, and other Workers Comp policy changes throughout the lifecycle
