Requirements

  • Technical background in mechanics, pipelines, or materials science
  • Experience or certifications in NDO (e.g., ISO 9712 Level II or III for UT, PT, MT, RT, VT)
  • Accurate, analytical, with an eye for detail
  • Willingness to work on construction sites, in factories, or at tank parks
  • Strong focus on safety (working in ATEX zones, at heights, confined spaces)

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasonic measurements (wall thickness measurements, lamination and weld seam inspections)
  • Apply other NDO techniques (VT, PT, MT, RT) depending on the assignment
  • Interpret and analyze measurement results
  • Report findings and prepare inspection reports
  • Advise maintenance and project departments on the condition of pipelines and installations
  • Ensure correct calibration and use of measuring equipment
  • Work in accordance with applicable safety and quality regulations (PED, ASME, EN standards)
