Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline or Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s) or 4+ years of relevant experience (Master’s)
  • 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, including a portfolio of complete design-to-implementation projects
  • Experience developing frontend interfaces in Angular
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional Agile teams
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Familiarity with documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the user-centered design process for secure, web-based applications
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing to validate designs
  • Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and polished UI deliverables using tools like Figma or Adobe XD
  • Translate design concepts into responsive, accessible Angular components using TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3
  • Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and testers to ensure consistent and functional implementation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, demos, and design reviews
  • Assist in frontend testing, debugging, and integration with RESTful APIs
