U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline or Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
7+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s) or 4+ years of relevant experience (Master’s)
3+ years of UI/UX design experience, including a portfolio of complete design-to-implementation projects
Experience developing frontend interfaces in Angular
Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional Agile teams
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Jira)
Familiarity with documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence)

Responsibilities

Contribute to the user-centered design process for secure, web-based applications
Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing to validate designs
Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and polished UI deliverables using tools like Figma or Adobe XD
Translate design concepts into responsive, accessible Angular components using TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3
Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and testers to ensure consistent and functional implementation
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, demos, and design reviews
Assist in frontend testing, debugging, and integration with RESTful APIs
