Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of game development experience, with at least 1 year of UE5 project experience. Experience with UE5 tools or plugin development is a plus
Knowledge of 3D graphics and rendering
Ability to use graphics debugging tools to solve rendering issues
Experience with 3A projects or open-world projects
Familiarity with AI technology and its application in game development tools is a plus
Excellent English reading and writing skills, with the ability to read English technical documentation and communicate with international teams

Responsibilities

Design and implement UE5 editor tools and plugins, such as level editor, resource management tools, and automation scripts, to improve game development efficiency and meet diverse team needs
Thoroughly understand the UE5 engine architecture and utilize core modules like rendering and physics to develop tools, optimizing tool performance and ensuring stable, efficient operation
Utilize the UE5 Slate framework and UMG system to build user-friendly editor interfaces, improving interaction and making workflows more intuitive and convenient
Customize UE5 tools based on the needs of art, design, and other departments. Utilize scripting languages like Python to enhance development efficiency
