Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, CDL A required
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience driving large trucks, preferably in a landscaping, construction, or tree service environment
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort operating various tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding work and assist with manual labor, as needed
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate trucks to haul logs, brush, and wood debris from job sites to disposal or processing locations
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate tools or equipment
  • Assist with stump grinding operations, including setup, cleanup, and operation support
  • Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections, providing routine maintenance if needed to ensure safe operation
  • Support tree service crews with various tasks such as cleanup, rigging, equipment handling, and site preparation
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies while on site and on the road
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to coordinate logistics
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck and assist in equipment upkeep, as needed
