Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting
  • 0-3 years working experience in finance or similar role within a corporate environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and stress resistant
  • Ability to work in a complex, dynamic, and fast-changing environment
  • Accurate with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate) is an advantage
  • Business knowledge of cash management and banking in international (cash) pooling is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SAP, and Treasury Management System (Reval) is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Analysing and forecasting short-term cash requirements and cash flows
  • Assessing and determining cash management opportunities
  • Operating the monthly worldwide netting and maintaining the IC loan portfolio
  • Maintaining (and issuing) Contingent Liabilities, such as comfort letters, parental and bank guarantees
  • Reporting and monitoring cash flow & currency exposure positions, bank charges, and interest income/expense
  • Customer finance/payment solutions and ad hoc Treasury, Tax, and Finance related projects
  • Maintaining process documentation & supporting audit activities
  • Ensuring adherence to the Medtronic Worldwide Finance Policies and other internal established policies and processes
