Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in finance, economics, or a related field. They should possess quantitative and programming skills in Python and SQL, along with knowledge and interest in financial markets. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and intellectual curiosity are also required. Prior experience in rates markets is not necessary.

Responsibilities

The Trading Analyst Intern will support the Rates Trading Desk by helping implement solutions for trading and risk systems. Responsibilities include shadowing the trading desk to learn daily responsibilities, developing an understanding of the Rates market and its products, and using qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trading opportunities and assess risk. The intern will also complete projects with presentations, support the research process through data collection and analysis, and assist with prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring.
