Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance standards
  • Ability to communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs, report complaints, safety hazards, and problems, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate business decisions, adapt to new tools, and encourage others to use them
  • Communicate needs for equipment/tools/supplies to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/problems, complete paperwork/logs/documentation, ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues/concerns
  • Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, influence/inspire others in a respectful/supportive team-oriented style, understand roadblocks, and assist in training team members
  • Implement action plans using Open Door Policy, execute business processes/practices in compliance with policies
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/feedback
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive culture, build trusting relationships, communicate positively to motivate/influence, strengthen team through development/mentoring/recognition
