Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track/monitor returns and special orders, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety/compliance standards
  • Ability to communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs, report complaints, safety hazards, product/service issues, complete paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Ability to ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, resolve issues/concerns
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics/integrity, using Open Door Policy

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales/service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, develop interpersonal skills for safe/efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety/compliance, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, POS systems, selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate business decisions, adapt to new tools, encourage others
  • Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, work hands-on in physical area, maintain inventory/audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product issues, complete paperwork/logs/documentation, ensure proper packaging/labeling/storage, assist members with needs/purchases, resolve issues
  • Act as brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, influence/inspire respectful/supportive team-oriented work, assist in training team members
  • Implement action plans for policies/procedures/ethics, use Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change/feedback
