Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, handheld technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance, complete paperwork and logs
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, identify priorities, communicate progress, adapt to change
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration, mentoring, educating associates, providing customer service, resolving issues
  • Ability to work hands-on in physical areas, package/label/store merchandise per policies

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, POS systems, and selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, adapt to new tools, encourage others to use them
  • Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, maintain accurate inventory/audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product issues, complete documentation, ensure proper merchandise handling, assist members with purchases/resolve concerns
  • Act as a brand advocate, value member experience, model high-quality service/products, influence/inspire team in respectful/supportive manner, train team members
  • Implement action plans using Open Door Policy, execute business processes/practices
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, carry out tasks, recommend improvements, learn from feedback
  • Embrace differences, create inclusive workplace, build trusting relationships, communicate positively to motivate/influence, mentor/develop others, recognize contributions
