Requirements

Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work outside for the full shift, in cold weather
Ability to work independently, multi-task and problem solve as well as manage challenging situations
Team orientated with an energetic, friendly, cheerful, and animated demeanor
Ski/Snowboard skills/knowledge is an asset
Resort knowledge is a plus
Availability for part-time weekends and holidays (2-3 shifts per week, 4-8 hours, 10:00am to 8:00pm)

Responsibilities

Greet guests at the Ski Lift Line to ensure they are utilizing the correct access product such as season passes or lift tickets and educate guests about correct access products
Check guest’s access passes at lift lines and other access locations that use RFID gates and scanners
Interact with guests – engaging, approaching, introducing yourself and initiating conversation; explain each attraction and communicate individual restrictions and age requirements
Help to move and support flow of guests at specific validation pinch points
Share passion and knowledge of Blue Mountain and help orient guests to the Mountain
Provide assistance for guests who may need support having their passes scanned
Redirect guests to Guest Services if they have the incorrect ticket or pass
