Responsibilities

Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Assess patients' needs through comprehensive assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and facilitate treatment team meetings
Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques in sessions and milieu
Educate patients on mental health/substance use conditions, self-care, treatment options, costs/benefits, and aftercare
Document patient progress, sessions, goals, and interventions within required timelines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, case managers) internally and externally
Report and document suspected physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect per law and policy
Participate in clinical initiatives, projects, and activities for system-wide improvement
Ensure patient safety, facility safety, and perform other duties as assigned (e.g., support direct patient care and system initiatives)
