Pursuing Technical associate's degree, preferred
Ability to stand regularly
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance frequently
Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear occasionally
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 35 pounds
Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
