Requirements

  • Minimum Associate's degree in electronics (preferred)
  • Six (6) years of related experience
  • Proven hands-on experience in development and fine-tuning of AOI, AXI
  • Experience developing, debugging, and sustaining programs for Flying Probe or supporting ICT programs and fixtures
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate electrical skills
  • Intermediate decision making and problem solving skills
  • Basic teamwork skills
  • Able to work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and verbal or written instructions
  • Able to compile and record test results
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Able to support and respond to challenging build schedules
  • Minimal travel (estimated 5%)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain test and inspection programs for one or multiple manufacturing test platforms
  • Review and react to key process indicators to increase program capability while maintaining low false call level
  • Identify program or system gaps and implement solutions to close them across the site
  • Actively listen and respond to internal customers' needs and participate in sector team to support external customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical leadership at product level using strong communication skills for optimal effectiveness in testing area
  • Work with planners and manufacturing Supervisors/Leads to support production schedule priorities
  • Support manufacturing operators and technicians in troubleshooting and debugging test equipment and software
  • Support product root cause failure analysis and implement solutions to reduce or eliminate downtime
  • Lead equipment calibration and preventative maintenance
  • Support new equipment evaluations and provide feedback as required
  • Develop new programs, complete test acceptance/validations, and implement engineering changes while maintaining program integrity
  • Lead development of Specific Function Training, Assembly Build Instructions, or other training for operators or Manufacturing Test Technicians
  • Attend vendor training sessions to improve expertise and train others as required
  • Lead and mentor other test support technicians
  • Lead reactive maintenance
  • Lead test/program acceptance
  • Recognize problems from test procedures and test results and make appropriate recommendations
  • Additional duties as assigned
