Requirements

At least 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or similar, with strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques (mobile and web app testing)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Appium, TypeScript, Python Unittest)
Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Able to read and understand Python and React code (bonus)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Customer advocate who can represent the user perspective and integrate testing into development/delivery processes
Ability to drive quality best practices across teams at scale
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Design, User Research, Customer Success, Revenue, Marketing) to deliver high-quality products
Comfortable developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and executing tests to identify bugs and streamline testing processes

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly validate software applications and features on Web and Mobile platforms
Develop, write, and maintain automated test scripts; execute tests and analyze results to ensure software quality, identify bugs, and streamline testing
Collaborate with Test and Platform teams to scale test practices and improvements across the organization
Help the team communicate quality considerations to stakeholders so they integrate quality into decision making
Act as the voice of the customer by working with product management, design, user research, customer success, revenue, and marketing to deliver products that meet high quality standards
Thoroughly test new product features to ensure delivery with the highest quality standards
Identify, track, and record defects; perform root cause analysis and support defect triage
Integrate learning and feedback cycles throughout the delivery process to enable continuous testing for continuous deployment
Champion best practices and help scale improvements across the department
