Requirements

Experience operating in Airside Environments
Experience handling specialty vehicle types in complex environments
Valid US Class C Driver's License, with 3+ years of driving experience and a clean driving record
Experience in a lead or sole-supervisor role, demonstrating superior responsibility
Reliable, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills
Alertness and good driving instinct to monitor autonomous vehicle performance
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Ability to pass federal background checks and receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating an autonomous vehicle, or overseeing operations of autonomous machinery
Experience with safety-critical infrastructure
Basic computer programming skills (ROS experience is a plus)
Interest in autonomous driving and aviation
Test driving experience
Familiarity with the layout and cargo operations of ATL

Responsibilities

Operate AeroVect's autonomous vehicles at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Log vehicle behavior, performance, observations, and key metrics
Supervise autonomous baggage tugs while in operation, and manually drive them to and from their storage depot
Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the vehicles and their hardware systems
Work with the engineering team to trial and test new vehicle features
Interface with those interacting with the vehicle on the route, as cargo and baggage are loaded for the vehicle to transport
Lend your expertise to the improvement of vehicle performance and handling of complex driving scenarios
