Requirements

  • Australian Citizens or individuals with active security clearance, or those eligible to obtain clearance
  • 3–7 years of relevant work experience in software testing (prior Team Lead experience needed for Team Lead roles)
  • Demonstrated experience in software testing within agile delivery environments, preferably SAFe
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle management
  • Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product owners, and testers
  • Review user stories and specifications to define test conditions and acceptance criteria
  • Design and execute test cases and scripts with traceability to business and technical requirements
  • Prepare test data and environments, and identify tools and resources for execution
  • Conduct manual and automated testing across unit, functional, system, regression, and performance phases
  • Record and analyse test results, maintain defect registers, and support defect triage
  • Report on test progress, anomalies, risks, and issues
  • Contribute to test automation strategies and continuous improvement of testing practices
