Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a related sales role and a proven ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies. Past experience in the pet industry and/or as a Territory Sales Manager is a plus. The role requires flexible work arrangements, including occasional evenings and weekends, with up to 60% overnight travel. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and reside in Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia.

Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets through the development and execution of sales strategies, developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory, and managing budgets related to sales activities. They will also develop existing and new client relationships, build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and provide product and brand training and support. Additionally, the role involves addressing customer issues, seeking out new business opportunities, executing promotional campaigns and marketing activities, monitoring market and industry trends, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
