Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of general experience
  • Successful completion of the retail training program
  • Must be flexible around branch hours (Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
  • Ability to operate a keypad device (70% of the day), electronic equipment (10%), and office equipment (10%)
  • Ability to stand 2 hours per day in a straight position and sit 5 hours per day in a leaning position
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 10 lbs. (2 times per day) and maximum lift of 20 lbs. (one time per day)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a team player

Responsibilities

  • Develop a working skill set, strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and bank products/services
  • Maintain a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedure manual
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Consumer Bank Customer Service Standards and provide exceptional customer service
  • Operate a customer service window efficiently and accurately, handling transactions such as: identifying customers, verifying authenticity, protecting against fraud (verifying balances, placing holds, documenting ID); accepting deposits and issuing receipts; cashing checks; handling savings deposits/withdrawals; providing services like bank money orders; accepting loan/other payments
  • Balance cash drawer daily; assist in ATM and vault balancing as applicable
  • Promote bank services, answer questions, direct customers to appropriate team members, profile customers to identify needs and expand relationships
  • Contribute to branch goals, sales, and service standards; execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with bank's purpose, values, and core drivers
  • Utilize Sales & Service Opportunity tool to track customer introductions to bankers
  • Provide additional services like night deposits, mail deposits, and safe deposit admittance as needed
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and employees; produce leads for Personal Banker platform
  • Attend and complete required training (virtual, in-person, online, etc.)
  • Perform additional duties as required
