  • Ability to maintain a balancing rate of 85% in accordance with Retail Policies and Procedure manual
  • Flexibility around branch hours (Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm)
  • Physical ability to operate keypad device (70% of day), electronic equipment (10%), office equipment (10%); stand 2 hours/day; sit 5 hours/day in leaning position; lift up to 10 lbs. routinely (2x/day), max 20 lbs. (1x/day)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work independently and as a team player

Responsibilities

  • Develop working skill set, knowledge of policies/procedures, and bank products/services
  • Operate customer service window to provide exceptional service on various transactions, suggest solutions, refer customers, and resolve issues accurately/efficiently
  • Utilize computer systems to identify customers, verify transactions, prevent fraud (e.g., verify balances, place holds, document ID)
  • Accept deposits, verify endorsements, issue receipts
  • Accept checks for cashing, verify endorsements/balances, or refer to management
  • Handle savings deposits/withdrawals and related duties
  • Provide additional services (e.g., bank money orders, loan payments)
  • Balance cash drawer daily; assist in ATM/vault balancing as needed
  • Promote bank services, answer questions, profile customers for needs, generate leads for Personal Banker
  • Contribute to branch goals, sales/service standards per branch playbook
  • Execute professional sales/service behaviors aligned with bank's purpose, values, core drivers
  • Use Sales & Service Opportunity tool to track customer introductions to bankers
  • Provide services like night deposits, mail deposits, safe deposit admittance as needed
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers/employees
  • Attend and complete required training
  • Perform additional duties as required
