Excellent communicator able to liaise between development, operations, QA, and other teams to align stakeholders on deliverables and timelines
Proactive problem solver who identifies potential risks, manages roadblocks, and maintains release scope and quality
Team player who collaborates with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to refine release processes, improve tools, and implement automation

Responsibilities

Plan and manage the release life cycle, coordinating resources and schedules based on third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates
Communicate release plans, timelines, and requirements to various teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned
Identify and manage risks that could delay releases, ensuring release schedule and quality standards are met
Track release progress, identify issues, and take corrective actions to maintain the release timeline
Ensure releases are planned and executed within defined budget and scope, aligning with project goals
Schedule and lead release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release for continuous improvement
Lead Go-Live activities to ensure successful software deployment with minimal disruption
Partner with development teams to build and enhance automation tools for software development and deployment
Schedule and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to discuss release schedules, identify roadblocks, and manage dependencies
Maintain detailed documentation related to build/release procedures, notifications, and dependencies
Drive improvements in configuration management methodologies and software development processes to optimize release operations
